Needing Input

Friends,
The Women's Ministry Team and I are in the midst of planning some fun things for 2010. I so want this ministry to be a source of encouragement to you all.

So, with that in mind, I would totally appreciate it if you could simply reply to this post and let me know some of the issues/topics/event ideas/etc that you think our women could benefit from learning about and/or participating in.

You can choose to reply anonymously if you would like. Either way, please please please just let me hear from you. :)

Thank you so much. I love you all...to pieces!

My Challenge to YOU for 2010

Since our pastor has challenged us to share Christ with "ONE" in 2010, I thought it would be in our best interest to equip ourselves as best as we can. With that being said, here is my challenge to you for 2010...

Each month, I am asking you to choose "ONE" verse or passage of Scripture that you would like to memorize for the month. I will make a post on the 1st day of each month, starting in February, that will include my verse, its address, and the translation in which I am memorizing from. For example, the verse I have chosen to memorize for January is...

"Create in me a pure heart O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast me from your presence or take your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me."
Psalms 51:10-12 (NIV)

All you will have to do is reply to my post each month indicating the same information for your verse or passage of Scripture. I would like for us to be able to read one another's verse(s) so that we can see to what place the Lord has led you in His Word. Plus, some of us might want to memorize the same Scripture as you.

If you feel led to accept this challenge, simply reply to this post with a simple "count me in." I just have to wonder about the incredible stories that will come about as a result of committing ourselves to learning and applying God's Word to our lives. That is, in fact, what He has instructed us to do, right?

So, who's with me? Let me hear from you.
